Hosted by the European Assocation for Palliative Care, over 70 individuals registered to hear Leen Krieckemans of KU Leuven speak on ethical concerns related to telemedicine in palliative care. Key discussion points included the role of caregivers, the potential impact of telemedicine on autonomy, and the balance between providing increased access to care and potentially medicalising the home environment.
